Offered is an original WWII vintage USGI M1 Garand Bolt. This bolt is in very good condition overall except that it has had a small spot of weld placed on the bolt face to cover the firing pin hole. There is no other welding or damage to the bolt that I can see. This came from the estate of an old gunsmith so I don\'t know much more about it. Looks like it would be an easy fix but I leave that up to the new owner. Any work or alteration to a bolt should be performed by a competent gunsmith. This is a stripped bolt and none of the internal parts are included. The bolt that is pictured is the exact one that the winning buyer will receive. Should make a fun project or a nice paperweight as-is.
