This is a beautiful work of art by the artist Robert Guy.

It shows a lovely green valley contrasted against a stunning evening sky. In the foreground a field of wild flowers is growing.

The painting was first lightly sketched in pencil then painted using traditional watercolour techniques.

This was a great picture to paint and will look fantastic once framed and hanging on someone’s wall!

About the Artist

I have been a professional artist for over 25 years and my paintings hang in collections around the world.

I have exhibited in the Burlington Gallery in London and the Fel Gallery in Singapore as well as numerous others. My larger oil and acrylic paintings have sold for prices up to £5500. This is a superb chance to buy directly from the artist with out paying excessive gallery commission (this can be as high as 80 %)

As well as painting for exhibition I also paint commissions on a regular basis. These include many portraits of people and animals as well as landscapes and architectural subjects. I work in Oil, acrylic, watercolour, pastel, pen & ink and graphite. As well as being a thing of beauty that can bring enjoyment on a daily basis original art can also prove to be a good long term investment.

I have also worked for many years as an illustrator, producing several hundred greetings card designs and as the lead storyboard artist for two animation companies.

For the last 9 years I have started passing on my skills by teaching art on courses that I run. I am also increasingly popular as a demonstrator for various art groups throughout the country.
