Original World War II US Army M1942 wool uniform coat. Size 42R. The jacket has a 4 button placket, 4 single button flap pockets and single button epaulets. The back is pleated with a partial waist belt. Sergeant rank badges are sewn to both sleeves. Service stripes are sewn to the left cuff. A US Army Pacific patch is sewn to the left shoulder. Ribbons displayed above the left chest pocket are: American Campaign medal, Asiatic Pacific Campaign medal with 2 stars, and World War 2 Victory medal. The ribbon bar is fastened with the old style single horizontal long pin rather than with the newer clutchback type short pins (see photo).
Buttons are gold eagle type. The manufacturer\'s label inside the right pocket is dated 1942 (see photo). It gives the size as 42R.

Ready to wear. The only flaws we note are a stain and small hole in the lining of the left waist pocket (see photo) and several of the buttons show some tarnish.Please note: We do not ship internationally.
