Offered here is an originalWorld War OneGermanbutton with the Imperial Crown in relief over a stippled background.It is heavy stamped brass with the shank consisting of two prongs. That suggests that the button may have been mounted on a more rigid surface such as a hat or a satchel, something like that. It measures 20mm (about 3/4\") and has an ICM backmark.
