Here we have avery nice WWII bring back Imperial Japanese Army type 90 helmet with battle damage.

On the right side are four bullet entry holes with one of the larger holes showing cracks radiating out.

There are 3 other bullet impacts or shrapnel dents and it is in all original as-found condition with a super time aged patina.

It has the original metal Imperial star affixed to the front, it is made of steel and retains a good amount of original paint.

The base of original olive green paint has aged darker on the outsideto a brown on one side and a black on the other side.

There is a wide band of field paint around the helmet at the star which comes to a point in the back.

Noticeablein both paints are brush strokes with the interior retainingmore of an olive green tone.

This type 90 measures 9 1/4\" wide, 11\" deep, 6\" tall and weighs in at 2 pounds 5 ounces.

There is light rust on the outside, interior rust spotting, white paint over-spray droplets andpaint scuffs on the outside surface.

Inside are remnants of the chin strap, all of the liner brackets are present but there is no liner.

This is a very niceWWII Imperial Japanese Army helmet with battle damageand will make a greatadditionto any collection.
