Offered for sale in this sale is an original M41 field jacket, size 38R. The body is a medium OD green canvas and the lining a green wool. The jacket was made by Jacob Finkelstein and Sons under a 1942 contract, according to the intact tag on the inside of the right outer pocket.
The jacket has a variety of marks and wear, including white paint spots in various places, some staining to the left shoulder, and some minormoth holes on the lining. Most interestingly, it features a variety of patches of checked cloth on theinterior and several other repairs, including a neat blanket stitch on the right cuff. Structurally, this jacket is in very good condition with no significant rips or tears.
