About theArtist: I am a self-taught full-time artist. I’ve been painting for 13 years. Iwas born into a Tuareg nomad family, and raised in Niger, West Africa. I havelived here in the U.S. for over 20 years. After a stroke in 2000, I couldn’t stopthe need to create. Due to the amount that I paint, I decided to offer anyonearound the world my work in a convenient forum. My work has been collectedaround the world for the last few years.

Much of mywork comes from my own life, my dreams,things I see, the stories that I know, my past; but most of all it comesfrom my feeling in the time I paintedit. I paint my feelings in these faces, figures, symbols and colors. Proud,sad, happy, angry, my soul is in my art.
