Original vintage print from the 1930s. Stamped on the reverse. British photographer Horace Roye (1906–2002) was a master of nude photography. His image \"Tomorrow\'s crucifixion\" featuring a nude model wearing a gas mask pinned to a crucifix caused controversial reactions when published in 1938. Today it is one of the icons of 20th century nude photography and Roye\'s nude studies are regarded as prominent examples of 1930s to 1950s \"art nudes\".
