The octagonalbeveled edge white marble top is in good condition for its age with one tinyhairline that in no way impacts its beauty or stability (see photos). The patina on the very ornate,solid Walnut Table Base is absolutely lovely, as are the design details and theworkmanship. You will see that the top of the Table Base is adorned with warmand lovely burl banding and incised carvings.This warm and lovely burl banding is further accentuated with incisedcarved burl cornices on all four sides as well as fancy center aprons with burlaccents and incised carvings. Thisdesign configuration is repeated on all four sides.

Next, an elegantcenter turned post with a distal turned finial connects the four lovely piercedgallery legs. The design details on these legs include both small and largeincised carved floral rosette roundels, incised wing carvings, fluted details,and four round fluted vertical arms with top and bottom round finials. Burl accents, scrolls, and incised stylizedshield carvings are found on the feet.
