Blanket chest on legs purchased in Lisbon, Portugal in 1975. The relief carvings are magnificent. The style appears to be late Baroque (early 1700\'s) or Baroque Revival (late 1800\'s). The lock might provide a clue to those more familiar with antiques.I\'ve been told the wood is white mahogany. It is 50 in. wide, 32 in. tall, and 24 in. deep. It is in very good condition. There is a missing handle on the left side. The handle on the right side is missing a connection.The chest has been cedar lined.The chest will have to be crated. Buyer agrees to seven days handling time.
