This sale is for one P-90 soapbar size CharlieChristian blade style single coil pickup. The pickup has a DC resistance ofapproximately 6.5 to 6.8k-Ohm. The coil of the pickup is surrounded bygrounded shielding which is very effective in eliminating noise from externalelectric fields.

This pickup is designed to allow the owner to change magnets. Thisfeature provides you with the capability to alter the tone and output of thispickup to suit your needs. This pickup ships with one set of magnets installed andone extra set of magnets. Magnet types available are: AlNiCo-II, AlNiCo-III,AlNiCo-V and ceramic-8.

If vintage Charlie Christian tone withreduced noise is your goal, this pickups is for you.

This pickup has mounting tabs with brass threaded inserts; this version is intended to be mounted to a pickguard in the same manner as a strat style single coil pickup; mounting screws and tubular spacers are included.

Bobbin top options are: black with white trim, black with crème color trim, solid black, solid white or solid crème color.

Each pickup is individuallyhandmade by custom guitar designer and builder Pete Biltoft at theVintage Vibe Guitars production facility.

Installation of pickups is relativelyeasy, but does require that you have a good quality soldering iron (25 wattpencil type recommended, such as the Weller WTCTP) and a good qualitymultimeter (Fluke model 10, for example) to check your work. In addition, thereference book Guitar Player Repair Guide, published by Hal LeonardPublishing Corp, ISBN 0-87930-291-7 is recommended.

This pickups is guaranteed for5years from date of purchase for the original purchaser and will be repaired orreplaced free of charge assuming there is no obvious physical damage. Detailsof the warranty are included on the specification sheet provided with eachpickup.
