He spent most of his working life in FRANCE; both in PARIS and the SOUTH of FRANCE by the MEDITERRANEAN SEA. THE COLORED INK DRAWING

This very EXUBERANT study of highly-stylized NUDE FIGURES, dancing and frolicking in a pastoral setting, is drawn by hand in BROWN COLORED INK.The work is drawn in Picasso\'s simple and spontaneous linear line-drawing style of his mid-century period, whilst domiciled in the South of France in Antibes and Vallauris. A very KINETIC and ENERGETIC drawing in it\'s graceful simplicity.The ink drawing is not dated but is circa 1940s, possibly even earlier, from the mid-to-late 1930s.HAND-DRAWN onto a cream-tan paper sheet (with some slight age-fading to a darker tone, normal for its age). It is blank on the verso. (This is most definitely an original colored ink drawing by hand and NOT a litho, print or copy of any kind.)The picture view-size measures: 11 1/4\" x 8 1/8\" (28 1/2 cm x 20 1/2 cm). The reddish-brown wood frame measures: 19 1/4\" x 15 1/8\" (49 cm x 38 1/2 cm).The drawing is HAND-SIGNED, in the same BROWN INK: Picasso, in the lower-right. Not dated, circa 1940s, possibly mid-to-late 1930s. PLEASE NOTE: Under \'s rules and regulations we have to sell this original signed ink drawing as in the manner of Pablo Picasso, or in the style of Pablo Picasso, as there were no official or recognized COAs or gallery documents attached when we acquired the work. Hence, although all aspects feel correct, it must be offered for sale on , as is, in Pablo Picasso\'s style.In GOOD CONDITION but with some spots and light stains, mainly in the lower third of the drawing. With some edge-wear (now hidden under its matte) and some age-toning to the very old paper. The watery \"bleed\" of the ink-lines in some areas was made by Picasso at the time of drawing and is considered part of the artwork\'s creation, it is NOT damage!
