Tightly woven, cylindrical spruce root basket, with twogeometric devices on either side--inmuted orange, dark brown and to a much lesser extent, a subtle dark green. These rattle tops often have small pebbles or lead shot in the lid. The lid on this one makes a gentle but quite audible rustling sound when handled, as if it may have seeds in it.
A handsome, antique basket in very good condition, flawless except for a subtle 1\" repair on the side.
