PAIR OF 1937 ORIGINAL INK DRAWINGS OF MARDI GRAS SCENES IN NEW ORLEANS LOUISIANA Description This is a very unique pair of 1937 original pen and ink drawings that I came across at a tag sale in Scarsdale, N.Y. It appears that the drawings are very fine depictions in ink of Mardi Gras carnival scenes in New Orleans, Louisiana. While I couldn\'t find a signature of the artist, there is a description on the bottom of one of the drawings that is inscribed and dated: MARDI GRAS NEW ORLEANS -- FEB. 1937. The drawings are magnificently rendered in ink. I believe the artist was a New Orleans artist. I would like to identify the artist. Would someone in New Orleans help me identify the artist. This is truly a unique pair of old Mardi Gras original drawings. Both drawings are in good condition and each measures 11 X 14 and a quarter inches. Both pieces are offered unframed.
