Apair ofJapanese,Green Kutaniporcelainfish shaped dishes, datingto the late 19th or early 20th Century.Painted in ochre-yellow, green and aubergine enamels and marked on the bases. Measuring9\" long, 6\" wide and 1.25\" high.Both have some damage. One has a starcrack to the base, which does not appear to go through to the top(see photo 3). The other has been well restored. This is easily seen from the back (see photo 4) but is difficult to see from the front. A nice pair of unusual dishes that display well.
