Parzinger Originals was one of the most prestigious NY
furniture designer in the mid century period. Tommi Parzinger earned a
reputation of producing extremely elegant, period inspired pieces
that had a modern accent.These table torchieres are exemplary designs, inspired by the
early American andirons! Andirons were used to hold logs
in the fireplaces and hearths - a source of illumination and warmth at night.
These andiron style lamps provide modern illumination
and were could be placed to work in tandem on a mantle or hearth
or just as easily frame a modern credenza or dining table.Parzinger incorporated four feet into many of his lamp designs,
believing in the \"eternal elegance of symmetry\". These lamps
have a timeless elegance and their simplicity of form and line
lends them to embrace all manner of interior decor schemes.Very fine condition. Some tarnish to the metal .
Switches on cords. These lamps use standard base
bulbs permitting all sorts of looks - from globe bulbs (pictured)
to flame shaped bulbs and more. These lamps would make a perfect addition to a NY Penthouse,
