On offer is a pair of oversized hand painted porcelain vintage lamps made by the Wildwood Company. Not to be confused with the lamps made today by a company of the same name. These are the high quality of lamps made mid-century by Wildwood.
They are elaborately hand painted with monkeys; one playing a guitar and the other blowing a horn; wreaths of flowers, crowns, ribbons, grapes and other embellishments. The background color is a very dark forest green which looks almost black at times.
They each measure 31 inches high and the girth around the largest portions measures 39 1/2 inches around.. They each weight 19 lbs.
The shades are ivory silk and are original to the lamps.They are also in mint & clean condition. The diameter of the shades at the bottom is 21 inches.
The shades and lamps will need to be packed into 3 different boxes. If you do not want the shades, but prefer to use your own, that will eliminate one box and the cost of shipping will reflect this. However, this will be a much, much lighter weight box than the 2 that will be over 19 lbs each including packing and shipping with double boxing professionally by UPS.
The cost of professional packing and shipping by UPS within the U.S. will be $200.
