Pair Of 1890s Victorian French Silk Ribbon Roses Needle Cases Or Rolls Lot Of 2 For Sale
CHARMING! A pair of lovely Victorian era sewing "pockets" or sewing cases, hand made of French watered silk ribbons, flannel, and chamois. With features such as pockets for notions, compartments, button flap pockets, a "book" page of chamois for needles and pins, etc. These date to the late Victorian era. Showing wear, as shown, but still sweet antique sewing collectibles for your display. This sale is for the 2, as shown. The pink silk ribbon roses measures 14" long when unrolled, and is 7" wide and closes with silk ribbon ties, innder compartments on 1 end, and is lined in flannel. The cream silk ribbon case is approx 12" long when opened, and 6" wide, with button pockets, and 2 "pages" of real, bettery soft chamois leather. Inside are pins, needles, and more, as shown.
