Parker 51 Fountain Pen
Mk II - Mk III Transition model Parker 51 dating from around the late 1960s.
The pen is finished in Black with a Lustraloy cap and Chrome Plated clip.
It is a full size Parker 51 measuring approximately 5 11/16 inches [about 145 mm] in length. The mixture of Mk II and Mk III components means that this is longer than average for a Parker 51.
The cap and barrel of the pen have the characteristics of a Parker 51 Mk II fountain pen, the nib section is more typical of a Mk III fountain pen. On top of the cap is a greyish translucent plastic \'jewel\'.
It is marked \'Parker, Made in England\' around the base of the cap
It has a hooded 14k gold nib - nib size is believed to be Fine.
The pen is in full working order writing with a smooth fine line.
Condition:The pen is in very good condition. There are no dents, dings, cracks, chips or engravings. There are some surface scratches/marks but nothing too unsightly. The nib is in good condition and the pen writes with a smooth fine line. The greyish plastic jewel is intact at the top of the cap.
Please examine the photos below, the first four of which give an all round view of the pen from four sides. Feel free to email me if you have any questions.Item to enlarge
