A Nice 1920s ? PARKER DUOFOLD Lady LUCKY CURVE JADE Fountain pen. Pat. SEPT 5, 16, on clip, Pat. 4, 25,11, on barrel. 4 1/2 inches capped, 5 3/4 inches posted. Has a good brand imprint. Posted these pens are a nice size. This pen posts perfectly. Nib is stamped PARKER, DOUFOLD, PEN, B. & is in very good condition. Has a little expressive flex, upside down it will create very fine lines. It is a very smooth writer capable of great detail for an artist. Pen has the typical issue of discoloration, on barrel, not much on cap. Has brassing on edge of wide cap band, Very sleight on clip. A nice Lady Duofold Lucky Curve. One thing you should be careful about with this type of pen, WARNING! Careless capping could result in staining inside of cap with ink or worse, the tip of nib can go in-between inner & outer cap if not centered and nib could be damaged. Other than that, the pen works as intended. I would NEVER let anyone UN-knowledgeable about fountain pens handle a pen like this for that reason. When held up to a light, with the silicone ink bladder you can see the filler spring working & see ink in pen. I don\'t use pens very often, only when listing them mostly. I just enjoy making them beautiful & useful again. You never know what you have until you use it or lose it. They say the pen is mightier than the sword. What they don\'t tell you is, without the sword there will be no pen. Pen will be clean & ready for your favorite ink. Please see all photos, there are 12. Test scribble is included.
