In Asia, the colour yellow symbolises success and wealth and is associated with most oriental royal houses.Introduced in 1927, the unusual and exotic Mandarin Yellow Duofold was originally inspired by a CLOISONNE vase George Parker purchased in Japan. For him, it represented the craftsmanship, artistic tradition and mystery of the Orient. Today’s Duofold CLOISONNE pays homage to the craftsmanship and artistic heritage of its predecessor and continues the legacy of Parker’s most iconic pen.
Only 3000 units produced by Parker. Each pen is individually numbered and comes with a wood presentation box and penman ink. This is nr 3772/3900
The fountain pen is used for a short period, in a very good condition still. Only very small wear and micro scratches on the pen.
The fountain pen comes with the box and documents. Outer box is missing
