This sale is for a large size quality hardback FOLIO SOCIETY EDITION entitled “Master & Commander,” a Jack Aubrey story byPatrick O’Brian, with an Introduction by Max Hastings, with numerous illustrations. This was the first book of what was to become a 20 book series.

It was published by The Folio Society, ofLondon, in 2008.

The book measures 9 inches x 6.6 inches x 1.6 inches (a little bigger in its slipcase)and has 356 pages + illustrations.

The book is in a very good unread and neat condition.There is just one slight depression to the bottom of the spine, but this is barely noticeable (see photo). The slip case also has some minor rub marks and some slight indentations along a couple of edges. Priced accordingly.
