Persian, Ottoman, Iran, Isfahan Islamic Solid Silver Teapot 480g Beautiful and rare antique solid silver teapot ca. 1890. Excellent condition apart from a shallow indentation on the upper portion, which due to the richly decorated pattern is barely visible. Hand chased floral design, the segmented pattern also features two birds facing each other, yet looking in opposite directions to form the top half of several cartouches, which run around the body of the teapot. An application of wood to the handle acts as an insulator when the pot is full of hot liquid. The teapot is marked and tested positive for high-grade silver.Although the teapot is relatively small, it has a good weight at 480 gDimensions:22 cm from handle to tip of spout
