A superb Ottoman / Persiansilver egg cup. It is unmarked but tests as high grade silver. I would date itto the late 19thearly 20thcentury. It has been beautifullydesigned being finely engraved with five images of figures. It is in superbcondition being free from dings splits and repairs. The inside is nice andclean. It measures a touch under 2.25 inches (5.5cms) tall by over 1.5 inches(4.1cms) wide and weighs 35 grams. A beautifully made more unusual example.
