About the inspiration for this feature stamp :the Looney Tunes series of 5stamps began in 1997 with the release of the Bugs Bunny stamp; 2001\'s PorkyPig stamp was the final stamp in the series, accented with one of Porky\'ssignature lines, \"That\'s All, Folks.\" This particular feature stampis from the Looney Tunesseries\' sophomore year, 1998.

Aboutthishand paintedcachet: apparently inspired by Sylvester\'s Feline heritage, Mr. Petermancreated an exceptionally dreamy cachet, featuring 5 adorable pussy cats . . . seemingly a mommy and daddykitty cat, trailed by their 3 kittens, as these furry felines check out thetown\'s skyline while just \"chillin\"atop and roof and chimney.

About thespecial cancel: and to ramp up the cover\'s theme all the more, Mr.Peterman obtained dual cancels. . . on top, the PO\'s 2½ inch wide, official 04/27/1998Sylvester and Tweety pictorial cancel, and then he held out until 07/26/1998,when the 2½ inch wide Cat\'s Paw Station, from Loch Sheldrake, New York, wasavailable to the public. Most definitely, a pair of pictorial cat cancels whichare brilliant complements to each other . . . and 2cancels you simply won\'t be able to find paired upon any FDC out there in all ofHobby Land.
