1950\'sVintage Design - Louis Kalff
This listing is for a superboriginal 1950\'s Philips NX110 table lamp. Designed in 1952 by LouisKalff, head designer at Philips, this lamp was way ahead of its time.It is all made of metal (shade and base) and part of the metal iscovered in a grey textured coating which contrasts beautifully with thesmooth white shade and red support at the base. This lamp measures 14\"high (35,5 cm) and 10-1/4\" across (26 cm). Condition: this lamp is in excellent,untouched vintage and working condition, with only very slight wearfrom age and use. I think you would be very hard pressed to find abetter example.
