Up for sale is the elegantly exotic - Philodendron radiatum \"Large Form\" - This is a nice BIG specimen!The general consensus amongst Philodendron enthusiasts is that there is a \"regular\" size and a \"giant\" size form of P. radiatum- I do indeed have mature plants in my garden and one gets very big leaves- almost like a meconostigma, and the other stays a medium size and climbs around while keeping a medium sized leaf. This specimen comes from the big leaf form (see first photo for an example)Philodendron radiatum is climber with highly divided leaves that can very large- I\'ve gotten mine up to 3 feet in length. This is another tough \"go to\" plant in my tropical landscaping- P. radiatum has survived many a very cold night in my garden (upper 20\'s) and I\'ve got a few gianourmous specimens around. The first photo you see is of a specimen from my nursery- Exotica Tropicals in Indian Harbour Beach, Florida- in a 7gallon pot, giving you an example of how large the leaves can get, and also how nicely it can perform as an interior plant (it is inside, near a sunny window)This one grows at a medium-fast rate, I usually grow it under canopy in a part shade, but it can take a fairly bright light as well- just protect from the harshest afternoon sun. Whether you are grown outdoors, or inside as a houseplant, Philodendron radiatum is very dependable and matures into a gorgeous specimen plant!The last 4 photos are of the actual plant at sale.. - This is a nice BIG specimen! growing fast and ready to get really big.The item up for sale is currently growing in a 4\" pot with soilless mix...
