This is a very unusual items. I had it evaluated at Skinner in Massachusetts. It is a ( likely) Plains Indian war club. It is very unusual in that it has inlaid pewter. There is the new wrapped at the top as well. This has been passed down in the family. It was traded for by a relative who fought in the Civil War. There is a peace pipe for sale that was also part of the trade.
