This is a very nice post-WWI U.S. Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal in excellent condition. The planchet is nicely struck and exhibits fine detail. It is attractively age toned and hand engraved on the reverse, “No. 19768 Herman E. Roost, Jr. – 1st Enlistment - 1920-1922”. It is suspended from the original ribbon which remains strong, solid and sound. The colors are vivid with very slight fading. The rope bordered “U.S. Marine Corps” top suspension bar is complete with a functional pin assembly on the reverse. This is a very fine example that remains in excellent condition.4557
