Sweet, beautiful quilt from the 1930-40s era.
This quilt has a white background with shades of lavender and purple with green leaves and stems.
There are some light pencil pattern marks.
It is expertly hand quilted at 8-9 stitches per inch, it has what looks like quilted spider webs and there is quilted grid work with square that measure 1 1/8\" x 1 1/8\".
It is hand appliqued.
It is hand bound.
It measures 93\" x 77\"
This quilt is in good, freshly hand laundered condition. There is some binding wear, a couple tiny loose appliqued pieces, a couple light pops, and a couple teeny surface holes. (See photos.) There are also a couple of small, light spots. There is light age tanning on the front and back, all of which was too light to photograph.
Overall, a very sweet quilt for the collector or cottage home!
