A beautiful French solid silver snuff or pill box. It is hallmarked with the Minerva head mark signifying 950 standard silver.It has been beautifully designed having its lid decorated with cherubs dancing to the music of a maiden. The inside is lightly gilded. Itis in superb condition being free from dings holes and repairs and closes tight - a minute old hinge edge crack but it has no effect see photo. It measures 1.5 inches (3.9cms) across by 0.5 inches and weighs 21 grams. A beautifully made high quality piece.
