The punch needle design is on weaver\'s cloth and completed in Valdani over-dyed cotton floss in primitive colors, backed with hand-dyed mustard color wool and placed in a primitive wood frame. The pattern is designed from Hooked on Rugs. The punch needle alone measures approximately 4 5/8\" x 3 1/4\" and is affixed to a mustard color wool backing and inserted in a frame with a 5 x 7 opening. The frame measures approximately 7 1/2\" x 9 1/2. The framed punch needle is backed with a brown paper backing as a dust cover and asawtooth hanger has been affixed to the back for easy hanging. This is a hand-punched piece by me, which I have dated and signed.
