Why would you buy a low price Featherweight on ?? Most have sat around in a garage, barn or on a damp basement floor for many years and then were sold at an Estate Sale then listed on . I would not buy an antique automobile that had this history unless I had the knowledge to restore an old car or I had the money to let someone else do it for me. What I would do in this case would buy one that was already restored and running properly, Road Ready!

This is what I will do for you. I will sell you a Road Ready Singer Featherweight. My machines are totally serviced, given a face lift to restore their former beauty to as close as factory fresh as possible. And will be ready for use as soon as it comes out of the box.

I have been using and repairing these little beauties most of my life, I would not sell anything that I would not use myself. I was raised sewing on a Featherweight and I am very knowledgeable on the use and service of these machines. I inspect, repair, adjust and time the machine, motor, belt and wiring then check to make sure that the foot controller is adjusted and running up to speed. When I am done, I know that I am selling a safe, well running, beautiful machine. Well worth a high offer.

All of my Featherweight’s are cleaned in and out. The clear coat that the factory applied over the black Japanned paint has been surface cleaned to remove any absorbed dirt and grease and oxidation that formed over the years.
This machine has it\'s original paint. Some of the gold decals have been replaced with new, as the originals had some ware. Decals or gold trim is now 100% perfect. It has been hand buffed and any of the light scratches were removed or minimized. followed by several layers of new durable clear coat Then an expensive synthetic auto wax was applied to the entire machine to keep it glowing for sometime.
IT GLOWS!
The Carry Case is strong and has been touched up and sealed inside and out to to protect it and seal out any (Singer Case Odor) they are famous for this. Shows little wear for it\'s age. Case handle has some use to it. New handles are available if needed in the future. Some think that they should be left on the case and carried from the bottom. Not my opinion.
This beautiful Featherweight has it\'s attachments, 5 bobbins, a solid strong carry case, includes original user manual.
I would advise to use the new odorless oil Singer makes or a good quality sewing machine oil, use new grease to lube motor tubes and gears.
Included FREE: motor lube in a special applicator that will actually fit inside motor lube tubes, if you like, you can find it for sale by clicking \'Sellers other items\'. The older ones are not odorless and degraded over the years. Never oil the motor, use grease (lube).
