We recently have cleaned out an estate basement in the historic Georgetown, District of Columbia and got many great quality antiques, including bronzes, silver and paintings! Everything down there has not been touched for over a decade and just came out to light! We had to clean all the pieces from dust, light mold and other elements other than than sold as is with described condition!
Presented is a pair of antique, authentic circa 1820s or earlier South American Colonial silver cups. They are unmarked, which is normal for Colonial silver but were tested and guaranteed to be solid silver. Each is crisply hand chased with primitive designs. Each has ornate handles with llama finials. No previous or present monograms on any. These would make a superb addition to any quality collection of Colonial silver!
