Item - Pair Early 19th Century Glass Whale Oil Lamps Pressed Base Applied Wafer Blown Font

Description - Pair antique American floating wick type whale oil lamps having blown glass fonts with applied wafers connecting pressed glass bases. Possibly Boston Sandwich or New England Glass.

Age - Early 19th Century

Size - Approximately 7 + ¾ inches tall by 3 + ¼ inches square at the bases.

Condition - Age appropriate with the typical minor chipping along the edge of the footings, commonly seen on lamps of this period. One has slight \"sun colored\" amethyst tint, mostly visible in the wafer, see photos for details.
