Here is a delightful pair of antique bisque \"piano baby\" figurines created by Gebruder Heubach around 1890-1900, made for decorating a home\'s piano. The girl measures 3\" across and tall, sitting down with a football between her legs, incised 0 on the back of her left pant leg. The boy stands 4.5\" tall with a black & orange striped shirt, ready to kick the ball, stamped Made in Germany on the inside, with extensive hallmarking on his back, both \"Copyrighted\" and the sunburst below. They are both in excellent condition, free of chips or cracks, and no paint fade that we can tell, with exquisitely meticulous detail in the hand-painting. They will make a beautiful addition to your display!
