Gorgeous large English Oak Barley Twist Candlesticks - Hand carved c. 1880s. Excellent hand carved craftsmanship. The candlestick shade is also hand painted with a beautiful posy and bird motif. There has been a previous repair to the shade. We are leaving this in as-found estate condition. These beautiful sticks have been used and have a great tactile feel to the wood after being carried around an English manor house for years. There is a small amount of wear to the metal drip chambers (photographed).

Elegant, masculine and stately, these beautiful antique hand carved English Oak candlesticks are ready to be unwrapped and enjoyed. They are guaranteed to be as photographed and described. We are including also one candlestick shade. The shade is lovely and intact. There is a previous repair (photographed) also lovely and Victorian Gothic in theme.
