Pair of paintings by listed artist David Stirling of Colorado. David Stirling was born in 1887 in Corydon, Iowa to a pioneering family, and his father was a newspaper publisher. He died in Longmont, Colorado in 1971.Fall trees is in excellent condition with minor scuffs to frame. The image is 9\" x 6\". It is in very nice condition with fall colors in an impressionist style. Signed lower right corner. Original frame with Dowfort, Denver sticker on reverse. Mountain and lake painting is 6\" x 12\". It has two dots 1/8\"-3/16\" which need touch-up. Mountain & lake are not signed. Scuffs on this frame.Stirling has an extensive sale history with records to $2,000.
