Pair of Vintage or Antique Hand-Painted Porcelain Bird Figurines From Germany

We describe these bird figurines as vintage or antique, because we do not know the exact age. However, they are marked with a scepter-like mark like those used in Berlin, Germany in the late nineteenth century. We are not certain, but we think they might have been manufactured by Konigliche Porzellan Manufaktur KPM).

They are just over nine inches tall.

They are beautiful and well-preserved with no major signs of damage or repair. They do have some signs of age and use consistent with their age, which are visible in the photos. Examples are minor glaze flaking on one bird\'s back, incidental minor maker\'s flaws, and small flea bites here and there.
