Pair of Vintage Spelter Figurines \"Le Commerce\" and \"L\'industrie\" .Pair of antique spelter Art Deco period figures on turned-wooden plinths in generally good condition throughout, although the original finish has some wear typical with age.Each stand at approximately 13.5 inches high (34cm) including wooden base and both are stamped \"Made in England ASCO\" with Reg. No 776468 and No. 776465.It is believed that these are part of a series promoting Edwardian period depictions of art, industry and technology - with these two representing the progressing of industry, commerce and medicine.
