Pair Vintage Art Deco Italian Hand Carved Alabaster Parrot Bookends:

This offering is a pair of 1950-1980 hand carved parrot bookends. They arein a very good period used condition. There is some roughness on the edges of the bases.I tried to show an example in the 5th photo. One of the bookends has a ding in theside of the base. The 6th photo is a picture of this. Alabaster being a very softmaterial there are small surface scratches on the pieces. Some of these mayhave occured when they were carved. The last photo shows an example ofan approximately quarter inch scratch on a wing.
They are 6.5 inches tall and approximately 3.25 inches wide at the middle.
They will, of course, be shipped bubbled wrapped in a box with sufficientpacking material. Thanks very much for taking the time to view this listing.
