A lovely pair of bronze sconces in the style of the period of Napoleon’s reign, “French Empire,” which was noted for its neoclassical references and quiet elegance. These sconces are in very good condition and just the thing to add a stately detail to your decor.

Completely rewired for 110 volt American current, each sconce takes one standard American chandelier bulb.

Solid bronze, stamped “Mod Dep Bronze” (Modele Depose Bronze, French for a type of French patent/ trademark law. It means “registered design.”)

These date to the 1960s.
