Awesome vintage pair bronze-clad figural bookends circa 1925 by the Pompeian Bronze Company. Both with original polychrome paint. Beautiful aged-bronze patina. He is wearing a traditional cap with handkerchief around his neck; she a traditional Dutch bonnet. Each is marked on the back,\"Pompeian Bronze Co. 140\". Measures 7.25in tall x 6in wide x 3in deep. Heavy. Excellent vintage condition: Light wear and minor losses to polychrome as is typical for these pieces. All told a 9.9 out of 10.
