Pair of antique Jenning Brothers repousse antique electric table lamps in candlestick style. Charmingly detailed scenes of Dutch life, with windmills, houses, and people engaged in daily activities. Beautiful aged patina. They are marked \"JB 2121\" inside the bases (see images).
Jenning Brothers Manufacturing Co. was located in Bridgeport, CT and began its business in 1890. It produced a variety of art metal objects, including lamps, clocks in metal cases, candelabra, and flatware.
These lamps are approximately 10\" high (without the bulbs). Their bases are approximately 2 3/4\" across. They have been re-wired and have in-line switches and new candle covers. The cords are approximately 33\" long (one issomewhatlonger than that).
As can be seen in the images, there appears to be an old repair on one of the lamps, where the base connects with the upper body of the lamp.
