Nice pair of Hubley cast iron dog bookends or doorstops. 4 1/2\" tall, 5 1/2\" across from the tail to the snout, and 2\" deep at the base.
I don\'t know if Hubley did these in red, but I really like it....I think of \'fire dogs\', dalmatians when I look at them.
Each weighs 1 3/4 pounds. No marks.Very good condition...superficial rust on the bottom, some wear to the red paint, and one of the dogs has some bronze paint on the front...please see pics.Thanks for looking and please Be sure to add me to your favorites list!
