These are great to use in guns with thin forends, drill a through hole and put a washer and nut on the back, the larger diameter helps prevent pull-outs. Also great if you have a chassis type stock were you can drill and tap directly into the stock itself. You can also make and install threaded sleeves into the stock, and screw these swivels into the sleeves, that way you can remove them quickly if you want to install other accessories.
