Pair of 13\" Gorham Sterling Silver Candelabra / Candelstick-holders style 660 :

These mid-20th century Gorham candelabras are 13 3/8\" tall and 11 1/8\" wide. On the bottom is inscribed \"Gorham sterling, cement filled, reinforced with rod, 660\". The top part with three candle sockets can be removed, leaving the base which only holds one candle. On one of these, the outer sockets on the upper part have been repaired because they came loose. The rosin (lead-filled resin) on the inside was replaced with UV600, an adhesive similar to but stronger than silicone. This left some warps to the contours, as shown in the final photos. The jeweler who made the repair advised not trying to repair the warps any further. Other than that, there are minor signs of wear that are not very noticeable, and are to be expected with pieces at least a half century old. Anyway, these pieces are still nice but are being sold \"as is\". Free shipping in the continental USA; inquire for postage to other locales.
