Pair of vintage c.1930\'s french Art Deco cantilevered iron sunburst arm chairs! They are designed by Francois Carre and are the rare single sunburst design on the back, as opposed to the more common high back variant with the cantilever base. They measure 20 1/2\" wide, 26\" deep, 37\" tall, with a seat height of 17\" and a seat width of 18\". These are very substantial chairs, with an excellent weight to their proportion, clearly very high quality.They maintain their original white painted finish, and show a brilliant dark amber oxidation over their entire surface. There is no significant or damaging rust, it is all surface level and there are no broken iron straps.
