These are 2 Empress Chalet tube radios from 1946. They are repairable or parts sets. I am selling them as is and untested. Please reviews the pictures carefully and ask any questions you have. I am not a radio expert, but will describe what I see.

The first picture shows everything included in the sale. The second picture is one set of radio parts - it includes the chassis which is inside the \"chalet\", the roof, a back and a speaker. The screws and knobs and miscellaneious parts are in the small boxes in the last picture. Most joints on the chalet are loose. The roof has a ding on the point which can be seen in the fourth picture. The glue on the roof just gave way as I was moving it around. Will need to be reglued. This radio is missing the small horizontal metal piece that mounts above the door of the chalet. The second radio has this piece.

The sixth picture shows the parts of the second chalet radio. Although the radio dial plastic appears broken (not a complete circle), the radio dial in the first set is exactly the same so this must be the design. The speaker cloth is mounted to a wooden piece that is broken. Please see the picture. I didn\'t want to glue the piece but it fits back together well. The speaker on the chalet has some tears in it as can be seen on the picture. Again, miscellaeous tubes, screws and pieces are in the small boxes in the last picture. The tubes are untested.

Both radios have moderate wear due to age. Chalets are apx 10\" by 10\" by 7\".

I will probably ship these items in two separate boxes to make sure they arrive safely and will be insuring the packages. This cost is built into the shipping fee listed.
