Condition:Wear consistent with age and use.

Materials:Reed - Wicker

Description:These diamondback patterned chairs are in fairly good condition, considering they are USA made, Circa 1900. They are sturdy and completely serviceable as is. The paint isolder, not sure of age with some chips (see above pictures).

Measurements:27\" wide outside arm to outside arm X37.5\" tall X 26\" out from wall; seat 17\" side to side X 19\"front to back X 16\" from floor.

History:The superior quality of reed from thistime period can\'t be matched today. This was the select material used by the Americanwicker furniture makers, during the \"Golden Age of Wicker.\" Theframework of new wicker furniture is not hardwood and the woven materials areinferior compared to the reed from over 100 years ago.
